This month during NYCxDesign, Coil + Drift will open a temporary showroom where they will be launching their new collection – Assemblage. The showroom will feature the full Assemblage collection that is composed entirely of lighting, as well as furniture pieces from their existing collection, many with new finishes.
The Assemblage collection came to be when founder and designer John Sorensen-Jolink took on the task of creating custom lighting for his first home, a pre-war apartment. The result was perfect for illuminating the lofty space, and Sorensen-Jolink decided to turn the designs into a full collection. Assemblage features the Yama table lamp, the Toam series, and the Pierce series, and has a vivid feeling rich with form and texture.
See Coil + Drift’s temporary showroom in person May 15-19, 10am-7pm at 2 Rivington Street, at Bowery Street, New York City.
